A couple of months ago I was invited to an event hosted by the Late Night Cocktail Club, unfortunately, I couldn’t make it but I made my interest known for any future events. It was agonising seeing all these photos online that I could have been in. They contacted me again late September about their Casino Royale night, which was to be held at The Roof Gardens in London on the 21st October.
I quickly said yes.
As if perfectly organised, it was around this time that Caris Closet got in touch asking if I wanted to review a dress. They were the perfect place to get a bond worthy dress from and I excitedly said yes, picked a dress and a pair of shoes, and upon them arriving jumped straight in the car to the event.
The Camille Dress, in particular, stood out to me with its asymmetrical frills. The pink colour perhaps not classic bond girl-esque but a lovely colour nonetheless – I hadn’t seen anything like it and although they had many suitable dresses on the site I found myself coming back to this one time and time again. I could see myself wearing this for multiple occasions rather than getting a super sparkly ball gown that would most likely sit at the back of my wardrobe for months at a time.
I completely splurged on this London trip and got my hair done at a blow dry bar in Fulham – an amazing experience that I’ll definitely be doing again. Unfortunately, we got caught in post-football match crowds but despite dropping a little bit, my hair prevailed and perfectly fit the dress and look I was going for. My main stylist even requested I leave a link to where I got the dress from as she liked it so much!!
My shoes are the Miami Sandals in Nude. As mentioned in my previous post I’ve been loving them! I’d been looking for a shoe almost exactly like this in every shop I could think of and after giving up hope of ever finding a pair I found these! They’re the perfect nude sandal to add to any outfit and I just know I’m gonna get a lot of wear out of them.
Throughout the entire night, I got compliments on the dress (something I don’t think I’ll ever get bored of..) and had a really great time! win, win.
We stayed in Kensington so obviously had to take advantage of the pretty streets. I think these might be some of my favourite photos to date. Really thankful to Caris Closet for sending me this dress, if you have a special occasion coming up (or just like pretty things) I definitely suggest you go over there and have a look at what they have to offer!!
