For the past three months or so that I’ve lived in Bournemouth, I haven’t once visited the pier. I wasn’t even aware it had a toll! But last Sunday Gail decided she wanted to do the Pier Zip so Tom and I tagged along with cameras and ridiculous lenses with the hopes of capturing everything for her.
The time was 4:23 and it was all over within a matter of seconds. Pumped full of adrenaline we only had one question – what next? That’s where I stepped in. My time to shine. My favourite time of year is almost here and to celebrate I had pulled out my favourite jumper. I got it from H&M during one of their sales last January – it is beautiful and oversized and cosy and the most perfect jumper to ever exist.
I paired it with my very overworn black jeans and suede boots from Primark and my backpack from Zara. I don’t know why but this outfit is the outfit I feel the most comfortable in. Not only do I feel good, I also feel that I look good and that is a true blessing these days.
My hair still curled from shooting the Hunkemöller post probably helped too.
I’m not quite ready to let go of summer but on the colder days (or on impromptu trips to the beach) I can appreciate whats ahead of us and what that might bring. I really have enjoyed experimenting with my style these past few months but I cant say that I’m not happy that all my knitwear can finally come out.
This is my favourite jumper and I’m glad I finally got to introduce you to it.
